“Sustainable Agriculture” is a term commonly viewed through a relatively limited lense. From my experience, this must include sustaining the physical, mental and spiritual health of the agriculturalist. These are often overlooked aspects in sustaining an expansive non-static interest in agriculture, especially given the demanding nature of the work.
When I first started sharing my Electroculture systems publicly, I was warned by a fellow online to “not let my hobbies drift into my work area.” Come to find out, this man was a mentally unstable factory worker who had lots of grandiose gardening “plans” but had yet to accomplish any of them. Meanwhile, my “hobby” of utilizing Electroculture was producing greater yields of higher quality vegetables than our farm had experienced in our near decade of farming. I was reminded while listening to a speech by Louis Farrakhan to “Never let those with inferior work assume a superior position.”
The idea of a farm that operates with the industrial nuances of an auto factory as advocated for in the book The Lean Farm, which influenced a generation of young farmers when originally published in 2015, is unattractive to me. Although I can certainly appreciate efficiency, I’d rather not model the modalities with which I interface with the divine around the linear production of the Corolla and the Sienna. I’m promoting the “robust farm” where the expansive interests and learning that may appear peripheral are nurtured and integrated to bring a greater truth into the lives of agriculturalists and paradigm shifting innovations into the workspace.
In Qigong medicine, chi (life energy) is harnessed by collecting Yang Cosmic Solar Positive energy and internally pairing this with Yin Earthly Negative energy. These fluxing potentials generate vital electricity that expands from the inside to the outside emanating as the “Wei Chi” or external energetic field of an individual. All life functions in this way.
The Electroculture systems utilized on our farm function in such an analogous fashion at a fundamental level, again revealing the ONE-NESS of life’s circuitry.
